24 March 2025

We marked the occasion with a tree planting exercise, reinforcing our unwavering commitment to sustainability and the advancement of green energy solutions. This initiative is aligned with Kenya’s broader national agenda, which seeks to restore degraded landscapes and promote renewable energy as a cornerstone of economic growth. With over 90% of the country’s energy already derived from renewable sources, Kenya is a continental leader in the green transition, aiming to cut greenhouse gas emissions and build a resilient, low-carbon economy.

By engaging in tree planting, we are not only contributing to the national target of growing 15 billion trees by 2032 but also supporting the creation of a greener, healthier future for all Kenyans. These efforts underscore our belief that sustainable growth and environmental stewardship go hand in hand, positioning Kenya as a model for green investment and innovation in Africa. Together, we are planting the roots for a sustainable tomorrow, where clean energy and thriving ecosystems drive shared prosperity.
